Holy humor Sunday. Pastor Lesley shared some jokes with the kids and they were able to celebrate joyfully after each punch line. If you want to know how to make a tissue dance, a pirate’s favorite letter or what happens when you mix an elephant and potatoes ask the kids! Our children’s choirs also sang for the last time this school year. Graduating Aiden and Will onto Gabriel’s singers in the fall. Our cherub choir led a sing along with the congregation.

#slpcyouth the youth group went to #easterseals this evening to learn about the organization a bit. We were able to listen to a mom share her story about her children. Thank you to Mr. Collins for setting up the outing and Mr. Cox for joining as well.

The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat. LentMadness is over and the youth handily trounced Mr. Swan (who challenged them) by at least five saints on the way to the Golden Halo... which the youth proudly wear in a well deserved victory. Let their gloating begin!

Club Luke @ 4th & Fairview. Our new home has a basketball hoop so the youth decided to show off their moves!! Lava game; everybody helped to all make it safely across. Music and sing-a-long with Mr. Fred. Delicious pizza and chicken tenders while mugging for the camera (some not so voluntarily). And clean up. Faithful fun time had by all. See you Sunday morning!

Hey Pastor...

We have to share the group’s song. The pastors wife told them to use song to try and get to the state fair... I believe the lyrics are “we want to go to the state fair... pretty pretty pretty please... I want to eat some fried Mac and cheese... there’s a pig I want to see” It didn’t work, but there was a challenge made so let’s see if there’s a trip to the fair next year.
